1890 - February

Henry C. Crawford bought 1,400 acres of timber land, on the line of the Western New York & Pennsylvania Railroad, about fifteen miles south of Port Allegany, and engaged in cutting timber on it. He later built two saw-mills, one at Gardeau, and the other at Sizerville.  (J.H.Beers)

1891 - March 10

V.E. And Lulu E. Crum lease land from E. D. Sizer to build a new hotel. See  the lease on file at the courthouse.

1891 - August  31

New Hotel at Sizerville opens. Cameron County Press, September 3, 1891

1893 - April 28

H. W. Martindale leases properties originally leased from E. D. Sizer by  V.E. and Lulu E Crum. Martindale operated a Hotel/Boarding House thereon. . See  the lease on file at the courthouse.

1899

H. W. Martindale lease marked cancelled.
